“Why do you go away? So that you can come back.
So that you can see the place you came from
with new eyes and extra colors.
And the people there see you differently, too.” ― Pratchett

A.----------------------

Made our first visit back to America.
Leaving warm beautiful spring days in Zagreb ...
arriving in typical Nor'East spring weather,
overcast and cold, with remnants of a recent snow fall.

It is Mark Twain that is credited with the saying
"If you don't like the weather in New England now,
just wait a few minutes.”

A rare beautiful sunny day spent paddle boarding
and enjoying a picnic lunch with my siblings.

And Jesus said to them "Go into all the world and
preach the gospel the all creation". Mark 16:15

This being our first trip home in over 2 years,
we tried to fit in as much as we possible could.
I got to travel 5 days earlier and spent precious time with my family!!
Walked around my favorite areas, eating seafood, in Boston,
Hiked in the woods of New York (Wynantskill),
Had my toes in the warm sand and cold salt water on Cape (Centerville).
Plus
Tom preached in 3 churches and a conference seminar.
In between we managed to fit in a few family gatherings, including a wedding!  We enjoyed great food and fellowship with friends,
Ate in a quite a few of our favorite restaurants,
and early in the morning, I enjoyed ordering (and walking with)
a large cup of hot black coffee !

 B. & C. ---------------

 ...outreach, church, baptism, and fellowship...

People from Jerusalem and from all of Judea and all over the Jordan Valley went out to see and hear John. And when they confessed their sins, he baptized them in the Jordan River.
Matthew 3:5

Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you".
Acts 2:38

The last weekend in April, (and May 1st),
we had three special services with
Pastor Henk Brusse from The Netherlands.
A great turn out for all three services.
Along with preaching the good news of Christ,  Pastor Brusse gave words of encouragement, prayed for the sick, and even entertained us in song.
After Sunday nights service we held the a water baptism.
Baptizing 7 precious souls!
We ended the night, and ushered in May, with a pizza fellowship.

is also for Adventure = an exciting or unexpected event or course of events.
Always an adventure living for Jesus...
Keep us in your prayers. God is doing great things. CC
